HSI-Garland Receives Flight Simulator Grant to Expand Aviation Learning Opportunities
Klarrissa Rios

Harmony School of Innovation-Garland is excited to announce that it has been awarded a grant through Students in Aviation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing the next generation of aviation professionals.

Through this grant, HSI-Garland will receive a flight simulator that will provide students with hands-on learning experiences and exposure to the exciting world of aviation. The simulator will help students explore aviation concepts, develop problem-solving and technical skills, and gain insight into career pathways within the aerospace and aviation industries.

As a STEM-focused campus, HSI-Garland is committed to providing innovative learning opportunities that connect classroom instruction with real-world applications. The addition of the flight simulator will allow students to engage in immersive experiences that strengthen their understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while introducing them to one of the fastest-growing industries in the nation.

We are grateful to Students in Aviation for their investment in our students and their future success. To learn more about the organization and its mission to increase access to aviation education, visit www.StudentsInAviation.org.
